We're very sad to hear the news of Emyr Humphreys' passing aged 101, and are honoured that he was a Patron of Planet for many years. A truly principled writer, conscientious objector, and perhaps the epitomy of a Welsh internationalist. Heddwch i'w lwch.
It is with great sadness that we hear of the passing of Emyr Humphreys, one of the greatest literary talents of the twentieth century in Wales and beyond. We had the honour of publishing his works for many years, our thoughts are with his family.

Keith Morris has been a one-man Aberystwyth and Ceredigion PR unit for years. He did more to promote the area he adored than almost everyone else combined. His photos were kind, joyous, inquisitive and radiantly beautiful. Such a sad day.
