You can always game the system. What infuriates me even more is that this all happens with the money we pay to the government as a tax payer. You think politicians are the problem but babus are worse. And getting worse day by day.

are always in demand. You’d assume it’s about job security but it’s not. It’s more about how much money you can make. And that money absolutely dwarfs private sector jobs, ESOPs included. Not to forget you won’t face jail time if you are caught..

The kind of cases coming out of Maharashtra about corruption by politicians and babus are insane. It’s not a surprise tbh, but some of the cases involve babus at the lowest rungs of the hierarchy who have amassed wealth in the hundreds of crores. Makes sense why government jobs..

if this doesn't already exist, i want to propose the opposite of great founder theory the great saboteurs - people who with their outsized impact in a field end up distorting emerging systems or ideas, resulting in long-term misdevelopment or flattening of the field for ages

I trusted @porterit_ for movers and packers and this may turn out to the costliest mistake I have ever make. They use third party vendors and provide very little visibility over tracking of your shipment. It’s crazy how I’m just supposed to trust that everything will go fine.

It is so important to know whose feedback you should listen to. Everyone keeps saying 'all feedback is welcome'. But where the feedback is coming from is equally important. Eg. you should think twice about the quality of feedback from someone who plays the optics game.

This is a dumb move. This should be solved for mandating correct parking space for new housing buildings. But instead of doing this, they created a rule that has tons of loopholes and ambiguities so it is a perfect ground for bribery.
