@FrTomPringle As of Dec-20th vaccine passports are required to enter places of worship in Quebec. The Bishops of Quebec have told the faithful to implement this new protocol. I refuse to exclude the unvaccinated from my parish. So our Christmas masses will be outside for all.

@FrTomPringle Vaccinated and not vaccinated; we are all Catholics, and one people in Christ. If one is left out in the cold, we will be all out in the cold together as one family.

@Sachinettiyil The world would be a better place if all the children with Downsyndrome who were/are being aborted; were not murdered in the womb, but lived among us, like this boy. May the Cross that triumphs over all evil, vanquish the great evil of abortion!.

Mass too long is an excuse, it isn't the reason Catholics don't go to mass. It would seem, generally speaking, that the reason they don't go to mass is indifference. They don't care, or see the need for mass. This is because they don't know&love Jesus so they don't follow Him.
“One question I always posed was, ‘How can we get people back to Sunday Mass? Why have so many of our folks stopped coming?'”

@jdflynn Medicine is for the sick, not the dead. Those in mortal sin are spiritually dead and therefore cannot recive the Eucharist. Those who are spiritually dead need to be revived through the sacrament of confession, then once reanimated they can recive the medicine that sustains.

@ShaneSchaetzel The thing to do with unfaithful Catholics, isn't to encourage them to leave. it's to encourage them to be faithful; by teaching them and correcting their errors. Most especially, to pray for them, that the Holy Spirit opens their hearts to Jesus' Truth.

@NCRonline @dearmisskate Jesus doesn't call women to priesthood, to his priesthood. The women who "discern" a call to Jesus' priesthood, are not receiving this call from Jesus.

@HeidiSchlumpf @dearmisskate @NCRonline The wait will never end. Women are not called to be priests, women cannot become priests. To continue pushing this issue can only be done by dishonest and divisive people who want to stir the pot.

@liliana_stram This isn't the type of stuff (vaccinated or not) that makes or breaks true relationships; It only reveals the truth about the relationship. So you didn't lose a friend, you found the truth about someone you thought was a friend. Still it hurts. Be assured of my prayers for you.

@DSDOConnor Some people cry in the confessional, some laugh. The expression of emotion in the confessional, in whatever form, isn't sacrilegious in of itself. Also, confession takes the time it takes. Be it 1min or 1 hour. Have charity and assume the best not worst in such circumstances.

@jdflynn The Holy Eucharist is for the spiritually weak, yes, but not for the spiritually dead. Confession is for the spiritually dead. Once resuscitated through the confessional, then one can receive the spiritual nourishment from the Body of Christ that will help sustain the weak.

@GerryKane1 All requests for secular music in weddings and funerals, the answer is no. Some get upset, the answer is still no. Sacred space = sacred music. Experience has taught me to inform families before "booking" the liturgy. If they don't agree, no problem, go somewhere else.

@JamesMartinSJ How sad and troubling! Those priests aren't actually blessing anything, their actions are void. The greater problem is that they are misleading souls into thinking a sinful lifestyle that is detrimental to the soul, is ok. These priests are leading trusting souls into Hell.

@FrEdwardLooney "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets before you." Matt 5:11-12.

@johnamonaco For funerals, what happens if the dead person was not fully vaccinated? Does their casket have to stay outside for the ceremony?. Seriously, if this stuff is true major prayers are needed for their bishop, cause this is not of Jesus' Church. Lord have mercy, guide your bishops!.

@USinHolySee How about the United States also show respect to the Catholic Church by not putting up that flag and being in the Church's face with something that represents the rejection of the Church's teachings.

@PhyllisZagano Women cannot receive the sacrament of Holy Orders, therefore it is not possible for women to become deacons.

@Jolz_Aust 1. Priests need to preach on sexual immorality. It's part their duty. Same-sex acts are gravely sinful, and need to be addressed for the good of souls. 2. Homosexual lifestyle was present it was clearly socially accepted and one if the reasons for Sodom and Gomorrah's destruction.

@Catholic_Ace Saint Joseph, patron saint of workers, look kindly upon those who seek employment, and through your powerful intercession, provide for them work, according to Jesus' good will, and provide for all other needs both corporal and spiritual. Amen.
