Three years ago in July, #Pinellas was looking at many of the same impacts TX is facing currently from Beryl, but from Hurricane Elsa. Elsa started to rapidly intensify offshore and develop an eye; thankfully it quickly weakened before impacting us. Be storm ready! #HurricanePrep

Think you can cross that flooded street? Think again. It only takes 6 inches of fast-moving water to make a person fall. Think you’re safe in a car? Most cars can stall in just 6 inches of water, and float in 12 inches. Turn around, don't drown.
