Sadie Voss now has the most career kills in JCC volleyball history with 1,142 (records only go back to 2001). Over the weekend, she passed Kaylee Burmeister and Abby Benson, who were tied for the most with 1,118.
Legendary gymnastics coach Tim McConnell died yesterday. In his 26 years as an assistant coach at Jackson and Jackson County Central, his teams won 21 conference championships and went to state 11 times.

JCC graduate and University of Sioux Falls freshman Sadie Voss has been named the Freshman of the Year in the NSIC. She's also on the second-team all-NSIC team.
She had 248 kills, 271 digs, 27 blocks and 24 ace serves for the Cougars.
Alaina Wolff is now the all-time leading scorer in JCC basketball history. She has 1,842 career points to pass Whitney Burmeister’s previous record of 1,841.
Tyrone Wacker was inducted into the Minnesota State High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame tonight - the fifth hall of fame in which he has been inducted.
