Reflecting on 2 years Bootstrapping. In July 2018 I quit my job and tried to build a profitable SAAS with @kevinsahin. And we failed, hard: $600 MRR after 1 year. We tried again and had a bit more luck: $75k ARR within 12m. Here's what I wish I knew when I began, a thread:

One @stripe radar rule that's a real game changer:. Blocking all payment from IP who tried to use more than 4 different credit card. Haven't had a single fraudulent dispute in 4 weeks since I've enabled it. 100% recommend.

Every founder should be able to communicate their value proposition in no more than 5 words. Itβs a great exercise. For example mine for Zero to Marketing is βlearn marketing from case studiesβ.

We've made $2,000,000 online!. It took @SahinKevin and I, 5y and 4+ products to make our first $1m. And 6m for the second one. I'm not a "small bet" person. I'm not a "never ever give up" person either. I'm on the "once you've found something that works, go 1000% all-in" team
