Well, my scan results came back and they weren’t good. The cancer went on walkabout and is all over the place. I have an appt. next Thursday with an oncologist to find out what my treatment options are. If you could spare a good thought I would surely appreciate it.

This is 63. I used to be ambivalent about birthdays, but cancer has changed that. Now I celebrate them and am really grateful that I get another one. On another note, my hair is coming back!

for today : First of all, thank you so much for the love, well wishes and prayers! You people are amazing and I’m overwhelmed by the response! The first treatment is done (docetaxal) and there were no adverse reactions during the infusion.

Wow, the last chemo is wiping me out. I’m so tired I’m like a zombie! But - I know this will pass and in a few more days I’ll bounce back. Also, so far, that’s the worst of it (thank God). To all cancer warriors out there there - keep fighting!

Cancer update : Hi everyone. I heard from my doctor. He's a man of few words, and said that the chemo did its thing, and now I continue with my meds and the injection I get every 6 months. I later talked to my nurse who told me my 'cancer burden', which is how they measure

Cancer update : Hi everyone. Good news - I was accepted into a trial. I'll be starting radiation in a few weeks. First, I get gold seeds (look it up if you've got a strong constitution). Next will be the simulation and then the actual radiation. I'm not sure how many sessions

Cancer Update: Going in for round 4 (of 6) of chemo. There's light at the end of the tunnel, which is what this photo reminds me of. I had a setback right after Christmas and had to spend a few days in the hospital, but hopefully all is well enough now to continue the journey.

This was my Bella, a few weeks after she came to us. She passed over to the Rainbow Bridge this morning at 21 years old. She loved everyone, but especially loved her daddy. My heart is shattered. She was the bestest girl.
