Instead of focusing on the district, my opponent used Campaign Finance funds to fly to Puerto Rico, where deals are made behind the backs of constituents, and people get to lay in the sun and have a good time—all while New Yorkers struggle to afford basic necessities and can’t even dream of vacations. The residents of District 30 deserve a leader who puts their needs first, not someone who abuses taxpayer dollars for personal gain. We don’t need someone who is supported by Manhattan politicians who passed bail reform, Raise the Age, Congestion Pricing, and more. @SpiritedWarrio1

For years, I’ve fought against the Pan Am shelter & know firsthand the struggles my Elmhurst neighbors face. Glendale and Middle Village deserve better. Today, I sent a letter to @NYCDHS demanding they not renew the Cooper Avenue homeless shelter contract. The city must stop warehousing people, invest in real solutions like affordable housing, and close down the shelter.
