If you think CA wildfires aren’t your problem, YOU are on the hook for rebuilding with federal bailouts. Tell your congressman to support the wildland firefighter paycheck protection act…these are the guys who can do the large scale prescribed fire that can prevent these tragic fires. It’s not a California problem, alone, and every time we do a media hit, we encourage everyone who’s not out west to take this seriously. Wildland firefighters are heroes, and cutting their pay amidst fires like this is unacceptable. Here’s us on CBS Chicago sounding the alarm.
