It is only in Nigeria a Phd holder from a UK university can’t even understand simple English and they will put PHD gadagba on their twitter Bio like say PhD Dey cough money from Bank.
Dear Japa community. Following deep thoughts and considerations. I have listened to requests of all and would like to submit myself to the post of japa custodian, your fellow japa in the abroad. I hope to help you achieve your dreams, just as I did mine.

Immediately they came, it was prayers, I am grateful I could get them to the UK for the event
I just went through someone's transcript from Nigerian school.
Schools still having 10-13 courses per semester or even more.
My UK students need to see this, ordinary 3 courses per semester and they complain anyhow
We should review the curriculum,I think 10-13 is too much
University of Leicester are investing over £9m for 100 new PhD scholarship

Neighbours and friends around saying the same thing. This country strips parent of all disciplinary rights to control a child. The outcome is what we have, children with no fear or sense of responsibility. You can't tell them nothing. Worse case social services will take them in
To reduce cost of learning to drive, over £1500 for some people. Buy a cheap car.
I learnt with £0, got a car £200 (😁), friends taught me. I watched endless YouTube videos ahead. I booked 4 hours with instructor for £25/hr. Passed on first try, sold that car for £500 😁
My first baby 😁, I miss driving this.
Got from auction for £100 and paid another £100 as service charge. £200 in total, learnt to drive with it and sold for £500 after passing. Got a new battery and antifreeze. Still gained from it, the buyer was super happy

She's too demanding, always tasking me for money..... leaves her
She's independent, does not depend on me for money.... leaves her
Wonder what men want 🤔
How to plan your PR route after entering as international students. UK's PR takes 10 years legal residency or 5 years on worker's visa.
So how can you plan as international student to get the PR
1. Study for 10 years
a. Do Bsc for 3 years
b. Msc for 2 years (best type)
1/
Our japa investment don pay off, my UK pikin don graduate, collect certificate and collect sponsored job to be paid all they money spent on the masters back and more.
Na your business if you no know say japa na investment to collect your money back hundreds of times over ✌🏽

@chidi00775
Am not ashamed of course, this is social media. I know my sis are not into social media, let alone pasting their faces all over it. Respecting people's preference is important
Apps that international students need upon arrival to the UK this month
1. Citymapper- For transportation
2. National rail/trainline- For trains
3. TFL- For London transport
4. Olio-free food and household items
5. Too Good To Go-Food from restaurants
6. Good on you-Clothes

Part 2 of our PR route for couples with one partner as an international student. Another permutation 😁
As mentioned, UK PR takes 10 years legal residency or 5 years on worker's visa or Spouse visa or 3 years for global talent visa
Open for my breakdown below 👇🏾
Possibly, make plans well enough before you can work within the allowed 20hours to add to your maintenance.
If spouse comes with you, he/she can work full-time as you study. That helps significantly if you work together as a team.
Praying for those looking into this, bless!

When someone is always going out of their way to do something nice for you. Don't always take it and thank them. Beyond appreciation, think of something nice you can do for them too. You don't have to always be receiving, do something nice too even if not as often as they do.
A massive "thank you" to everyone that has reached out to me or just thought about my wellbeing and absence from twitter street. Na sickness wan show me pepper o, i hardly fall sick but once i do... lol, but thank God I am better now. E se o, Daalu, Nagode, thank you 😁
I asked ChatGPT to write a personal statement for a commonwealth scholarship application
Write a personal statement for a Nigerian applicant to University of Oxford for masters in public health with focus on commonwealth scholarship
See output below
I was told not to apply for PhD scholarship because I should return to Nigeria to find husband after my masters. Not that it was a bad idea but I think one does not stop the other. Afterall, i lived in Nigeria all my life till i left, marriage no come before travelling 🤷🏾♀️

She felt it was too high, head of department. She was asking for lower rank job to apply for sef, not knowing God has already prepared this one for her. She does not know anyone at the company too, just advert she saw. Good step in the right direction for Nigeria, super proud 🥰

You can convert using exchange rate

Part 2: Money saving tips for international students
📍Buy clothes from third party sellers
There are several third party websites. They do not manufacture clothes but sell clothes at cheaper prices. Main one is
I bought the jacket, trouser and shoe at £5
Hope you find this helpful, e no easy but i pray God help all thinking about the approach to travel abroad.
You can use Form A to pay tuition fees, so that it is reduced using bank rate.
Remember to calculate all payment required before you start working in the UK

As an international student, please speak up. You have spent thousands of pounds on your studies. Don't let any lecturer or even other students bully you o. This may affect your degree outcome and experiences, speak up. Report lecturers if needed, raise formal complaints 👌🏾
You may need to pay for dependents as follows
Visa: £348
IHS: £470
Maintenance in London = £7,605
Maintenance outside London = £6,120
Remember you may be required to rent 2 bedroom for bringing children, if coming with them.

On this app, many have either directly blamed me for not getting married or insinuated it despite not knowing my story
Not knowing that I would rather be married as a Muslim should but not lose my mental wellbeing in the process.
Do you know how many 'visa love'? Na God save o
MD insisted on her, she wanted her. The woman said she liked her skills set on her own small business and confident she will deliver in this multi-arm company. They promise to train her, more qualified people applied o, but God's grace just shined on her. Interview was only once
I am super proud of our Nigerian students. A meeting report shows that our MSc and MPH students that are over 90% Nigerians have almost 100% attendance for the whole term and excellent engagement. Even with other commitments, all lecturers are praising their dedication, kudos 👏🏾
Now lets discuss how to answer these questions.
1. Why do you want to study in the UK?
>To answer this question, you need to highlight the following.
>High academic standard in UK
>The diverse learning community in the UK
>High standards and career prospects.

Let's talk about credibility interview for international students coming to the UK. Many would have either had it or will have their interview scheduled soon to meet the September intake.
Key things to know as follows
The interview is part of visa application process for students
UKVI personnel in class to take students attendance 🙆🙆🙆
Fresh of press, I just got information from my darling sis doing her MSc in the UK
Abeg, attend your lecturers o, not shift/work all the time. This may extend to other universities 🤔
Scholarship nuggets
1. Be open to several countries, don't get too stuck on just one or two (US and Canada 😂)
2. Get your documents ready (Academic qualifications, transcript, Int'l passport, Referees etc)
3. Contact potential supervisors and have confirmed interest from them
My first academic job interview, I saw the list of candidates as the secretary was looking to cross my name. I was the only person without 'Dr' prefix before my name, I told my friend that i am not as qualified as others. HoD called me, I got the job 9am the next day. God win 😊
Money in the account for 28 days will be maintenance + rest of tuition fee after deposit paid.
Maintenance London = £12,006
Maintenance outside London = £9,207
Fee left after deposit = £14,000 - £3,000 = £11,000
Bank statement (For London) = £11,000 + £ 12,006 = £23,006
4/n
Bank statement (Outside London) =£11, 000 + £9,207 = £20,207
You will use to covert the bank statement to naira. Remember to add extra money in case exchange rate increases slightly. Hopefully, no extreme rate change.
Current exchange = 543

This is the best news 🙌🏽 I have been fortunate to help others come to the UK,having my own sister join that list is beyond amazing. I feel thankful
When I was coming here as a student, she was the one that followed me 6am to the airport
@IamSocialMallam

Less than 10 years from graduation
See how 🤔
@AramideOlubiyi
If as PhD holder, you think I no get sense. Talk about that, not my qualifications. Having a PhD does not mean I know everything in the world. In fact, it is the opposite. Having a PhD shows I know a lot about small space of knowledge. Focus on your issue with the person

My tweets on this issue are not to disregard the need for marriage as early as possible. People that know me personally know I am 'Ruth aboko ku' 🤣
I love love, since my teenage years but will not feel less of human as God has not approved it yet or stop my progress in life
I just saw my old diary
I started lecturing by Jan 2020 and I actually wrote to become senior lecturer by 2025
I got promoted by 2021
I planned 5 years to be promoted
I got it 20 months after.
See me making plans while God had even better plan for me 🙌🏽
Believe in you 🙏🏽
UK now allowing more than 20hrs for healthcare employers mainly the NHS. They are not worried that you won't be able to focus on your studies 🤣
My point: They only look out for themselves, they need you, they increase hours. They don't need you, they reduce it. Focus on you too
