This is the problem. Nobody should know a priest’s “sexuality” and if the priest has achieved the virtue of chastity (and not merely sexual continence) then he will be fully integrated, his attractions are not an issue, and certainly not apparent to others.

My brother Mike was part of a start-up Special Olympics basketball team for his home county in Kentucky. They had only 7 players and still went 18-3 for the season. They lost the state championship to became the state runners-up— their first year. With seven players. GO BULLDOGS!

Today is the 20th anniversary of my father’s death. He died at the age of 67. His only sibling, a younger sister, my Aunt Mary, died last week at the age of 84. We’ll bury her on Saturday. I was grateful that we had a reunion of all my dad’s children and Aunt Mary last summer.
