Well, ehm, climate always changes, as you may have read in the history books.. I am not interested in EVs because of the climate. I just find them more interesting than ICE cars. I drove ICE cars all my life and enjoyed Porsche, Alpha, Audi, Mercedes etc etc. Nothing smoother and faster though than a Tesla S.

@PeterSweden7 Why not start with returning to warrant principles of unhindered, flows of capital, people and goods. All other centralized functions put on multilateral agreements between states run by responsible, accountable governments.

They would have gotten there, they have great engineers. The first Teslas were not exactly good cars. I own a 2013 S and love it but it has flaws. The new versions of course are perfect, Tesla does not fool around with innovation speed. So Porche would have gotten there, but if they do not, their miss. Just saw the sales figures of EV's in Germany, no subsidies, very bad car sales in general and very very bad economy: EV's still selling in the most petro-head country. Meaning: people want them. And we see this everywhere. Once you get used to it and have the life/charging possibilities and money, you will now buy and enjoy one. The rest takes just some time. More than 50% of cars in Norway are now EVs. China will soon be. It is game over for petrol cars. The issue was battery and charging, battery is no longer an issue. Charging is being solved.

Climate changes always. What, so far, does not change is the human power greed that leads to wars over resources. What we also know is that some 8 million people die per year due to air pollution caused by fossil fuel burning. I know that, for example, solar PV is cheaper than other energy converters, in most countries. So, a country promoting its energy independence and clean the air for its citizens of which 80% will live in cities by 2050, seems a good idea to me.

I am starting to understand the human condition :-), so not looking for that however more interested in meeting people that have the same question: how do we avoid the wichhunt behavior of the masses, of people of all kinds of backgrounds? How do we tackle that virus? We supposedly are intelligent; why do we try to kill each other?? It is weird no? Seems we are the only species behaving like this... curcious.

Gostava de ver esses numeros da INE. Estou curioso onde este "crescimento" existe. É real ou igual aos fundos que entraram da Bruxelas? Ou vem do turismo? Ainda pouca gente fala das alterações que muito provavelmente teremos na Europa e o risco do colapso dela. Tambem não oiço muitos a falar sobre a nova realidade geopolitica que está a desenrolar-se rapidamente e não vejo paços na direção de diplomacia com quem vão ser (já são) os novos grandes poderes económicos neste mundo. Se Portugal quer aproveitar do caos que ai vem /já está então que começamos a trabalhar a sério.

Het was mijn vriendin die zei dat ik niet zomaar in gevaarlijke virussen moest geloven toen ik Januarie ´20 tegen haar zei dat er iets aan de hand was in China. Ze vond dat ik het wetenschappelijker moest benaderen. Dat deed ik en redelijk snel daarna werd ik een conspiracy theorist genoemd. Nog steeds hebben sommigen van de meest academische vrienden om mij heen het idee dat er echt een epidemie was. Het is werkelijk erg moeilijk dit te doorbreken en eigenlijk interesseerd mij het virus niet meer maar te zien hoe wij als mens heksenjachten "organiseren" had ik nooit gedacht mee te maken en vind ik bizar. Dát is het virus dat bestudeerd moet worden!

De EU zou absoluut geen bevoegdheid moeten hebben geopolitieke sancties op te leggen. De EU is geen democratische weergave van het geopolitieke beleid dat verschillende lidstaten willen zien. Eerst maar eens orde op zaken in eigen "Unie"....lijkt mij. De EU heeft geen gezag meer, is een lam geslagen vogeltje. Stapje terug en opnieuw beginnen, lijkt mij.

@elonmusk So, reading this mean private clinics can just go on doing it. I understand his hands are tied and that Congress has to sustain a new law prohibiting children to engage in change of sex without parents consent and anD 36 months cool down period build in.
