Silvertown blues. From the @guardian: "Fire crews tackle blaze after ‘pre-planned’ film set explosions near the O2". The article mentions the O2 several times. The fire was in Silvertown, on the other side of the river, which is about 400m wide here.

@hdduncan I was thinking of the 4th largest industry in the world having annual revenues of more than $500 million. This is true, but unhelpful.

Google maps told me that 1st June was my busiest day of the month. I wonder what their definition of 'busy" is? It looks like they think I flew 11K km, ran 14 km and drove 14 km. The driving was actually buses and they missed a train, underground and a load of walking.

@ianbremmer Are those disapproval ratings? That would imply that Rishi Sunak has a very high approval rating, which doesn't sound right. I think these are actually approval ratings.

Well said, @RyanCoogan. I have noticed this phenomenon. I refuse to queue and sometimes get told that I'm pushing it. It's not helped by inexperienced bar people who fail to notice who arrived first.

The @Independent is never the most numerate of publications. Having more than one fire to battle in 120 square metres seems implausible. That's about 11 metres x 11 metres. I think they mean 120 metres squared, which is "about the size of 2 football pitches", @JohnRentoul

@ArianeSherine @johnandi I remember when first class went up from 3p to 3.5p and second class from 2p to 2.5p. Probably around 1975. We didn't have books of stamps in those days.
