My latest paper (and last of my PhD) was just published by Quaternary Science Reviews. We present a novel proxy for reconstructing seasonally specific hydroclimate using δ18O measurements on aquatic moss strands in NW Greenland. Check it out: /1

@JacquelynGill Sorry, I'm just seeing this now. I think it would work as long as the aquatic mosses grow across multiple seasons! The seasonal growth patterns may not be preserved deendong on the species but consecutive sampling would allow you to capture seasonal variations.

So excited to share that I will be starting as an assistant professor in the Department of Geography, Geology, and Environmental Science at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater this fall! Looking forward to teaching and starting up some local paleoclimate research.
