Bins are frequently set alight deliberately, this costs time and money, wasting resources that should go to our community. Don’t let this happen, report it. Call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you suspect someone of lighting fires.

Pedestrian safety Parents and carers play a vital part in teaching children how to cross the road safely. When you cross the road, don’t take risks – children will copy you. Stop, look, listen and think Remember to find a safe place to cross, then stop, look, listen and think.

With the weekend here and cold weather forecast, we want to remind everyone of the dangers of frozen canals, rivers and lakes. The ice may appear solid but it could suddenly crack, causing yourself or your pets to fall through and potentially become trapped under the surface.

Recently, we have extinguished a number of deliberate fires in Crow Wood Park and The Bongs. Time taken up by these incidents can impact our response to others where someone’s life may be in danger. Please report antisocial behaviour like this #MerryChristmas 🧑‍🎄

Starting a deliberate, nuisance fire can take up our valuable time. This could reduce our response to incidents where someone’s life may be in danger. Please report irresponsible behaviour and help us reduce these incidents in our community. #CommunitySafety #ArsonPrevention 🔥
