Thread 🔽 - During the course of our patrols today, we’ve already had cause to turn around vehicles, from as far afield as: • Redditch. • Wokingham. • Bristol. • Gwent. The message from @WelshGovernment remains the same - to avoid all non essential travel.. (1/3)

In Wales, the travel rules haven’t changed. Please avoid all non-essential travel. Staying away from the place you live, without a reasonable excuse, is an offence. Campsites and tourist attractions, along with many popular footpaths and beauty spots, remain closed. #StayHome

The vast majority of people stopped today were travelling in accordance with Government advice. However, the two occupants of this car admitted that they were ‘out for a spin’ from Neath!!! This is clearly not acceptable and they were dealt with accordingly Thankyou @DPPDogs

Over 270 miles of patrols conducted throughout the county overnight. A number of drivers from outside the force area were stopped, all of whom had valid reasons for travel. Vehicles now handed over to day shift officers for further high visibility patrols. #StayHomeSaveLives
