Since 2008, Deuce has greeted fans in the Pro Shop, run the umpires fresh baseballs, and circled the bases after each Bird's win. Tonight, after 10 years, we celebrate the best known dog in Myrtle Beach and wish this very good boy a happy retirement. Thank you, Deuce.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that our second team dog, Deuce, has passed. From 2008-2018, Deuce greeted fans, players, and umpires alike to Pelicans Ballpark. He brought joy to a countless number of people and will forever be a part of the Pelicans family. 💙
