Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said: "Preparing food and decoration on the 15th night of Shaban, this festival is Bid'ah." [Iqtida' as Sirat al Mustaqim 302]

Narrated Anas: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If anyone forgets a prayer he should pray that prayer when he remembers it. There is no expiation except to pray the same." Then he recited: "Establish prayer for My (i.e. Allah's) remembrance." (20 : 14) [Sahih al-Bukhari 59]

Ibn Ajlaan رحمه الله said: “He who constantly keeps death in mind does not care about the narrowness of the dunya nor its vastness!” [Sifat as Safwa: 3/342]

Imam Malik ibn Anas رحمه الله said: "A man should treat the members of his household well, so that he becomes the most beloved of people to them." [Al-Muntaqa Sharh Al-Muwatta (2117)]

Abu Al-Darda’ رضي الله عنه said: “I pray for my brothers while I am in prostration (sujood), mentioning them by their names and the names of their fathers.” [Tarikh Dimashq (47/188)]

Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal رحمه الله said: "The world is the land for doing good deeds and the hereafter is the land of its reward so whoever does not carry out good deeds in this world then indeed will regret in the hereafter." [Dhail Tabaqaat Al-Hanabilah, 1/298]

Imam Ibn Rajab رحمه الله said: “Fasting in Sha’ban is like training for fasting in Ramadan, so that one does not enter the fast of Ramadan with hardship and difficulty.” [Lata’if al-Ma’arif (p. 134)]

Stay In Your Homes — [al-Qur'an 33:33] Shaykh al-Albani رحمه الله said: “It is known in legislation and with people of knowledge that the basic principle for a man is that he steps out of the house to earn for the benefit of his children and family, and on contrary the basic principle for a woman is that she stays in her home and does not leave it (unnecessarily) ... So when a woman becomes like a man; leaving (her house) in the morning and returning in the evening; then due to that she becomes an imitator of men whether she realizes it or not.” [Silsilah al-Huda wa Nur, 19] The Messenger of Allah Sallallahu-ʿAlaihi Wa Sallam said: لعن الله المتشبهات من النساء بالرجال “May Allah ˹curse˺ women who imitate men..!” [Sahih al-Jami' as-Sagheer no. 5100, declared ‘Authentic’ by al-Albani]

Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan حفظه اللّٰه said: "From the rulings of Friday that whoever comes to the masjid while the Imam is delivering the khuṭbah should not sit until he has prayed two brief units of prayer." [al-Mulakhas al-Fiqhi (1/198)]

Abu Huraira said that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "Five are regarded as martyrs: They are those who die because of plague, Abdominal disease, drowning or by a falling building, etc., and the martyrs in Allah's Cause." [Sahih al-Bukhari 2829]

Narrated 'Aishah: that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Ten are from the Fitrah: - Trimming the mustache - leaving the beard to grow - Siwak - cleaning the nose with water - paring the fingernails - washing the joints - plucking the underarm hair - shaving the pubic hairs - and washing (yourself) with water." [Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2757]

The prophet (ﷺ) said: “Indeed, Allah, is Hayy, Generous, when a man raises his hands to Him, He feels too shy to return them to him empty and rejected.” [Jami’ al-Tirmidhi 3556]

Amr ibn Qays رحمه الله said: "Glad tidings for the one who rectifies himself before Ramadan." [Lataa’if al Ma’aarif, 138]

Shaykh al Islam Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said: "Do not disperse your heart searching for love, safety, and completeness with other than Allah. "You will not find that (with other than Allah)." [Majmu' al-Fataawa, 10/134]

The Prophet ﷺ said: "Read Surat al-Baqarah, for reciting it regularly is a blessing and forsaking it is a cause of regret, and the Batlah (magicians) cannot withstand it." [Sahih Muslim 804]

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever’s last words are: laa ilaaha illallaah; will enter Paradise” [Irwa al-Ghaleel no. 687]

Shaykh Rabee al-Madkhali حفظه الله said: "Praise be to Allah, we do not change (Colours) with events; (like a chameleon) we follow a single path (Manhaj)." [مرحبا يا طالب العلم ص31]

The people asked, "O Allah's Messenger ﷺ, "Is there a reward for us in serving (the) animals?" He (ﷺ) replied, "Yes, there is a reward for serving any living thing." [Sahih al-Bukhari 2363]

Mu’la bin al Fadl رحمه الله said: "The pious predecessors would supplicate to Allah for six months prior that they would reach Ramadan. Then, they would supplicate to him for six months afterward to accept their deeds." [Lataif al Ma’arif 1/138]
