On Sunday, 11/12 at 5:34 P.M., Pearland PD dispatched to Cole’s Flea Market at 1014 North Main, in reference to shots fired. Five victims were discovered and transported to nearby hospitals. Suspect is still at large. Active investigation, please avoid the area.
Pearland, Texas – On November 14, 2023, at approximately 10:00 A.M. David Negrete turned himself into custody of the Brazoria County Jail. This is still an active investigation by the Pearland Police Department. We are no longer seeking assistance regarding locating Mr. Negrete.
George Floyd will be entombed in Pearland on June 9th at the Houston Memorial Gardens on Cullen, south of beltway 8. From Freedom Blvd to Clear Creek, Cullen will be closed to roadway traffic.

On this day four years ago, the Pearland Police Department lost Officer Endy Ekpanya when he was killed in a head-on crash with an intoxicated driver. Officer Endy Ekpany had been with the department for one year.

Arrest warrant issued for David Negrete (3/10/2004) for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Mr. Negrete should be considered armed and dangerous.

Today marks the 20th anniversary of the passing of Sergeant R.B. "Buddy" Webb on July 22, 2000. Sgt. Webb started with the Pearland Police Department on November 15, 1970 and was the night shift Sergeant when he passed away. RIP Buddy.
