RETAINED! The @TrustCatalyst Cup remains at Aveley again after the girls football team went unbeaten in the tournament, Scoring 7 goals and conceding NONE! winning all the games to finish top by 5 points. Well done all:) Some great football all round! #TheseGirlsCan

Fantastic day out and experience for the KS2 basketball team at University of Essex. Playing the best basketball schools in Essex. The competition was played at a very high standard. Sweat and tears were left on the court as we finished 9th in the county. Well done everyone! :)

What a fantastic day at the London Aquatics Centre. Wining races, earning medals and doing so with big smiles on their faces. What a wonderful experience which included a free pink swim hat. Well done guys :) Looking forward to going back again!! #WeAreAveley

A fantastic end to the sporting calendar by our year 6 Flag football team. Winning by 3 touchdowns to 1. leaving the score 18-6 in favour of Aveley. Was great to see a new sport taken up by so many children this year. Long may it continue. #WeAreAveley

A busy week of Cricket last week as both our boys and girls teams competed in their respective cup finals. playing wonderful cricket and working very hard as a team. unfortunately, coming up just short on both occasions against a very strong opposition. Well done guys :)

Brilliant day to with the Pro Strike fundraiser. Lots of children kicking the ball really hard. some amazing scores WELL DONE. All together the Children of Aveley Primary School raided just over £5000. Fantastic work everyone involved. #WeAreAveley
