@michaelj7195 @RevKawika The way the church I attend currently does communion, I am almost certainly getting some gluten in my system. I don't want to ask for the pastor to change how the service works at all, so I'm somewhat stuck. I do take..... but it's worrying to me.

@RevKawika @michaelj7195 Yes. I have celiac. Any amount larger than 20ppm causes a reaction in my intestines that can lead to needing blood transfusions, having bad brain fog for a month, and needing a ton of vitamins until the intestines heal.

@LutherMugi1517 Goodness, so many "come home" replies. Tiring. The orthodox do not affirm the procession of the spirit from the son. There are plenty of other reasons not to go there, but a conversion would necessitate a change in your belief of who God is. Along with sin, monergism, etc. A lot

@veatchme Well..... you already know this, but there's tons of exoplanets that we've found. And pluto has an equivalent square footage to Russia. Not very big, and also not unique. Thus the 'not a planet' ruling.

@PedanticKilljoy @AuronMacintyre Well, they don't like that belief because scripture paints a picture of it being very important to be in community with believers, which would be attending services in church, among other things. A saint will, by necessity, want to receive communion and be in christian community.

@PedanticKilljoy @AuronMacintyre Athletes thanking God. The reality is that you're very, very rarely going to find an actually devout athlete, whether pro or college. Their schedules do not leave much space for attending a church (preferably the same one) every week, along with other things...

@BrentNeas @HansFiene You think Count Basie sounds like two geese fighting? Ornette Coleman does exist, but it's not as though he would ever have been the halftime show. His music isn't for a wide audience, and it's not intended to be presented the same as other forms. Nor is it popular.

Conservative Lutherans, Anglicans, and Presbyterians would all take a 5 second glance and know she's completely outside of the faith. She is a false teacher, false prophet, and many other things. Those are disqualifying.

@TRHLofficial Not only is it true, I find the one on the left quite attractive and find the one on the right *not* attractive. If I saw her I would tend to avoid her. That type of presentation tells me enough that I doubt I would want to be married to her.
