Phillies bullpen has a game where they can predict a HR once a game by throwing their hat on the ground. This was the Phillies' bullpen moments before Kyle Schwarber smashed his 412-foot bases-clearing double off the wall. It would have been a HR in 18 ballparks, per Statcast.

@NNgoveni81681 I am! It’s been a good one. Also everything I listed was objective statistics. Hurts has played as clean of a game as you could ask for today.

@longjohnthicc But one “hasn’t been efficient passing the ball today” and the other is “composed and playing a phenomenal game” per the broadcast.

Hard to believe this isn’t a different game with Benjamin Morrison healthy — not to mention Rylie Mills up front.

That’s the play Notre Dame had done so well to take away. Will Howard to Jeremiah Smth will just about let Ohio State run the is out. Gutsy comeback by Notre Dame.

@donaldc58 Didn’t make me uncomfortable in the slightest. The fact you think it’s “good tv” to show a parent in that situation is far more concerning than any reaction I had to it.

@donaldc58 Fans? Yes. Parent of a kicker when trailing by 16? No.

@FG_Dolan I will! That was later and worse than either of the calls Mahomes got yesterday. Such a brutal look.

This ended up potentially being the difference in the game. Led to an Eagles FG. Rams would have been kicking 36-yard FG to send it to OT instead of going for it on 4th & 10.

I know the refs give a count when it hits '0' before they call delay of game but

Guess there’s too much snow for the refs to see the play clock? Hit 0 well before the snap on Eagles’ 4th down conversion. Big break on that drive — likely decide to punt if it’s called.

“I like this call by the Phillies.” - Tom Brady Poor guy still has to wait another month for pitchers and catchers to report.

Jahan Dotson just had more receptions (1) on the Eagles’ opening drive than all Penn State wide receivers had combined against Notre Dame.

@ChrisVannini They’re playing deep, though. Looks far more like they’re playing against a potential fake — and that’s just not happening in that situation.

@dpillie They’re not faking it in that situation. And even still, you have 11 guys on the line and react if an ND player breaks off the line. That kick is for the season — you need to go after it.

A guy named Jeter with the game on the line in the postseason? That’s automatic.

Why was Penn State in a FG safe formation for Notre Dame’s game-winner? Were they expecting a fake? They had 3 guys playing off the ball. You have to go after the block there …
