Locally heavy lake effect snow will develop east of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario Wednesday night and continue through Friday morning. Multiple feet of snow are possible in the most persistent snow bands. There will be major impacts to travel and society during this time.

The 90 west is CLOSED from Dunkirk (Exit 59) to the Pennsylvania state line due to the snowy weather conditions. Also, both directions of the 90 are closed in PA from the state line to Route 79.
