My heart is broken. My husband Mark died tonight. He had a tear in his aortic valve but then other parts of his body fell apart. I don't know how I'll go on without him.

Prayers please. I've been in a hospital in Barcelona, Spain for 3 days with diverticulitis. The infection & inflammation are not improving. If things don't get better, they will consider high risk surgery that involves a colostomy. Thank you for any prayers.

Praise God! My white blood cell count was 15,000 yesterday-no improvement in 3 days. This morning it's at 12,000 & 11,000 is normal. I don't know what that means but I recognize the math.Thanks 4 the prayers. Blessed! Husband took pic in Zaragoza yesterday

My husband, Mark Armstrong, was bigger than Life. His life and legacy lives on in our 10 children & everyone who knew him. At the beginning of his wake, even the sky cried, pouring down rain. At the end, as people left church there was a double rainbow.

As we went to my husband, Mark's wake, it poured as if even the sky was sad. As people departed the church, they beheld a double rainbow. My meteorologist brother later explained all the atmospheric conditions required for this which makes them so unusual.

The screen capture from Saturday morning Mass on May 11 shows my husband and me going to communion. It was our last Mass together because God took him home at 11:45 PM that night. Mark wore his Faith on his sleeve and often on his shirt. Can you guess which one he is?
