On 9/10 I landed at JFK outbound to CLE. Due to WX my flight was delayed 7 hrs. My seatmate on the inbound perished at Battery Park. That morning, I witnessed the 2nd aircraft crash into that building. I fell to my knees crying.

I once flew an old fighter in a flight of two. Landing in Dayton, my aircraft experienced a significant main grear problem while downwind. The tower controller started harassing me.

Back in the day, I think between '82 and '87, I flew on the AirFrance Concord from CDG to JFK. While on the tarmac at CDG, the Captain invited me to the cockpit's Jumpseat. Reaching cruising altitude, our Captain relieved his 1st Officer to my Pax seat and me to his right seat.
