I started last summer as an intern at a project with 1M TVL and low mindshare in the depths of the bear market. I expected this to be a 12-week summer role, and by August, Parcl had grown minimally. However, the teams' vision, focus, and culture led me to stay part-time while in school. In late November, Parcl V3 launched, and the platform began to scale to its current state. The vision gets clearer every day but the end goal remains the same. A liquid real estate market for traders and investors worldwide.
✅ $2 billion in total volume on Parcl In the ~7 months since v3 launched in November, Parcl has crossed 2 billion dollars in total housing market exposure traded on the exchange. What this means for Parcl going ahead: 1️⃣ Hypergrowth thesis The DEX registered an average of ~$8M in daily notional volumes over the past month, peaking at ~$24M on May 17. Remember the Parcl flywheel of growth: More volume ➡️ More LP APYs ➡️ More LPs ➡️ More markets activated ➡️ More volume .... 2️⃣ Market Potential Remember: The physical residential real estate market volumes are expected to touch $3 trillion in 2024 in the US alone.
