Everyone is trying their best, but it’s just not good enough and patients who need us are being failed, and that burden is really being taken on by staff, and to see colleagues and other NHS staff in floods of tears daily is really heartbreaking. We’re exhausted

Attended a life-threatening anaphylaxis today, and to have the patient be able to shake my hand and say "thank-you for saving my life mate" before me leaving the hospital gave me goosebumps. What a great feeling to start the weekend! Happy weekend everyone!

Being a Paramedic is very humbling often. Nothing makes you realise that more, than arriving at an emergency and having a parent just hand their child over to you, begging you to take them, knowing they'll be safe in your hands. It's the best job in the world!
