First of all, the rainbow flag; yes it's a gay symbol, no one is arguing against that fact. However, the rainbow flag is also THE umbrella symbol for all things LGBTQ+. When you see this flag outside of an establishment, you know they accept gays, trans, aces, etc.

Literally on Google, when you see that someone's business is LGBTQ+ friendly, it's followed by a rainbow icon. When someone expresses LGBTQ+ allyship? Their flag plays off the rainbow flag colors. Every parade or LGBTQ+ movement uses rainbows to push pride for ANYONE queer.
