After 25 years of ME, 2 ways I’ve found to get doctors to listen to more than 3 symptoms: hire/cajole a DR. to write a complete medical history summary or go to a cash only practice where the intake will cost dearly. Neither necessarily helps get better treatment but costs

I spent the entire night trying to get to sleep. As it turned out, no mindless TV was too boring nor reading material too dense. No sleeping medication was strong enough. I would have been better off to have just gotten out of bed and worked for the 6 hours I was wide awake.
