Think through and address the practicalities before legislating đź‘Ť
We’ve been hearing from other Parliamentarians about challenges of scrutinising framework legislation. This week there was a strong call from @SP_FinancePAC to ensure co-design happens before Stage 1 of a Bill to allow more detail to be presented to Parliament.

Money resolution debate starting now. Minister argues this is a formality. Minister has confirmed an impact assessment will be available before report stage. And Government is remaining neutral (despite two Ministers voting against hearing from the Royal Society of Psychiatrists) /
