Obviously a lot has been going on in the new government. But let me pick one of the conversations and return to the others later. This issue of First Class ban for all Ministers of the New Government of @JDMahama - President of Ghana. Most of the First class planes have the capacity to sit about 12-14 people. Business class with big airlines sits about 40-80 people maximum. And the rest is economy (where I have usually found my space and seat with the multiple travels I had since age 6 unless I get an upgrade with my miles to Business class and even that, only if there's space on that flight) This is my suggestion to this government and to successive governments. Let's have a policy that states; 1. If a travel is less than 8hrs flight - you're bound to ECONOMY. 2. If a travel is more than 8hrs flight - you're bound for Business class (eg. Traveling to USA, Canada, China, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Etc) 3. If a Government official has to travel 12 times in a year, decide that 2 of such journeys will be in Business class, the others on economy. 4. If any Government official wants to fly Business class, there should be a quota given by the state and if that quota can afford a business class, good. If it can't the individual tops up to business class. 5. The government should collect miles and use a lot of the miles for upgrade into good classes in the plane, either Business Class, First Class or Premium Economy. As a frequent traveler, I know the sickness that is associated with long flights and most often the inconvenience especially if one has had long days prior to travels. There should be a lot of reasons why people fly First Class, Business class, Premium Economy and the rest of us Economy. Each seat on the plane has different costs and prices associated with it. The other question we have to answer is this? A lot of business conversations are held in first class, Business class and obviously Premium Economy and Economy. However we all know that this world is full of different people with preferences. Good contacts are made in the air, when one is 80k ft above sea level, the conversations can be endless and the bounds of friendship can be struck. 1. Do we as a country want to position ourselves for opportunities? 2. Do we as a country want to have the best of the Unique selling proposition of each trip a government official makes? 3. How do we want to be viewed as a country with Government officials in First Class, Business class or Premium Economy and Economy. Truth for me is that, there really is no luxury in either of the classes where one sits. My position on this is purely for business opportunities and networks. We have to decide what this means to us and what advantages and disadvantages we have to this. I conclude by stating clearly that, we need to serve and if we serve diligently the people who have entrusted this leadership role into our hands, there will be no need to discuss which class of seat our public servants or politicians or government officials sit on. I wish that @sigaghana and the public services commission will have a broader look at this condition of service to bring finality to this issue. @RAahiagbah @JDMahama He doesn't even read to know this has been implemented already by @MBawumia . It is because @YayraKoku has no superior innovation to what has already been done πŸ‘. Stay awake.

On this day in 1965, the man known traditionally as *Barima Kyeretwie Boakye Danquah - Okyeman Twafohene; and in private life as Dr. Joseph Kwame Kyeretwie Boakye Danquah esq. was found dead in his prison cell at the Nsawam Medium Security Prison*. He was 69 years old! His crime was to have opposed the then CPP government led by President Kwame Nkrumah. He was charged with the notorious PDA passed by Nkrumah to persecute his opponents. Dr. Danquah was famously described as *the Doyen of Gold Coast Politics by the Watson Commission* after the 1948 disturbances. He also famously proclaimed the UGCC as a property owning democracy which the New Patriotic Party adopted and inserted it in their constitution. Ohene, may your soul continue to rest in the bosom of the Almighty. Gone but never to be forgotten!

PRESIDENT KAGAME @PaulKagame said he doesn't know if Rwanda has troops in GOMA, DRC, however Rwanda will do anything to protect itself from any threats. There in lies the answer. THERE ARE TROOPS IN GOMA AND IT'S FROM RWANDA. Obviously you don't expect the President to release such vital NATIONAL SECURITY news on TV and in an interview. #letsStandforAfrica

EXCLUSIVE Rwandan President Paul Kagame has told @LarryMadowo that he doesn't know if his country's troops are in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo, despite the fact that he is commander-in-chief of the Rwandan Defence Force. More here:

Looks like this is the time we need to put a BREAK on aid. Africa and the rest of the world 🌎 have been so blessed by the people of America who's taxes have cared for the most deprived and chaotic situations. Either displaced people by war or terrorism or hunger or anything. As we are thankful to our global donors, it is also time to that we stand on our feet. AFRICA, let's stand for our values, let's stand to build our own Aid. Ghana's former President @NAkufoAddo spoke extensively about GHANA BEYOND AID. I am an African and I am not an idiot. We will make Africa great. #istandwithAfrica
