Solar power is a non-starter for any serious human occupation and only nuclear will suffice long term and at scale. Water is irrelevant for nuclear as we can use many things for coolant & heat exchange, from molten salts to molten lead among other things like Supercritical CO2

@elonmusk One thing about Mars is true - We won't know anything about the anomalous structures until we go there. Not as a government, but as a free people. SpaceX has the chance to free people - to create a new frontier with new possibilities, and it only starts there, not ends
