5. End of the swivelling chair – Sales people are often in a swivelling chair, swivelling left-right-left, from one tool to the next, from data hre, to reporting there. Highly inefficient. Advances in AI will help consolidate the experience, powered by a UX-less experience with a ChatGPT-like and/or voice powered experience.

Theory is great but it’s the war stories, the anecdotes, the stories from the trenches that really hit home. And that’s why I loved the session with Lauren Vaccarello yesterday - stories about Marc Benioff pushing the envelope to the extreme, weekly 1-page ads in the Wall Street Journey, and protesting outside Moscone centre during Oracle’s annual conference.
