Aaliyah Nye will enter this season as the nation's top 3-point shooter for field goals made, with a field goal percentage of nearly 42% last season. The previous season, Nye shot 45% from beyond the arc, but Nye is more than simply a 3-point shooter; she is capable of creating shots for both her teammates and herself. She is also a savvy defender, averaging 1.8 steals and half a block per game last season. What's particularly notable to us is Aaliyah’s first step; defenders have a difficult time staying in front of her. With her size, skillset, and athleticism, she is a quality player who can immediately contribute to any WNBA team. 📕Alabama single-season record holder - 108 3PT FGM last season.
