Members from the Uniontown State Police,Uniontown City Police and Connellsville Police participated in “Shop with a Cop” for back to school items at the Uniontown Walmart. Over 100 children participated in the event.
Update of incident in Fayette County - After hours of negotiations,to try to have the suspect surrender, the suspect exited his house and raised his firearm at SERT members. SERT members responded to the threat, the suspect was shot and pronounced deceased at the scene.

Cpl. Dan Acklin came upon a devastating vehicle crash along I79. The operator had been ejected and was motionless. The oper. was not breathing and had no pulse. Cpl. Acklin began CPR and Denise Marino, a nurse that stopped to assist, continued CPR until there was a pulse. ⬇️ info

Last night I had the honor of meeting 9 year old Aiden. While on a traffic stop Aiden saw the lights from the police car and ran out of his house with no shoes or a coat just to meet a police officer all while his mother was running after him.

The Blue Knights of PA presented a monetary donation for both Allegheny County and Troop B Camp Cadets. An experience for 12-14 year olds to challenge themselves in a structured and discipline manner. “We make good kids better!”

The Pennsylvania State Police Troop B reports no fatal vehicle crashes this holiday weekend throughout Troop B. However, poor choices were still made as Troopers made 70 arrests for impaired driving (DUI) 15 of those involved vehicle crashes. Please do not drive impaired.
At this time we have multiple victims and injuries one being a law enforcement official. There is heavy police presence. We are asking the public to stay away from the area at this time.
The scene of this unfortunate incident is cleared with all roadways open. We appreciate the help from all involved, saddened by a family’s tragic loss and apologize for the inconvenience some had endure.

PSP Pittsburgh 1st Annual Gift in a Tie collection for Father’s Day at the Northside Common Ministries. 25 kits for men were put together. The kit included a neck tie, socks and lots of personal hygiene products. We hope this helps make Father’s Day a bit brighter. 🙂

We are saddened to inform you that the search for Luther Bryner has come to an end. Bryner was located deceased approximately 1 mile from his residence. No foul play is suspected. We would like to thank all who have dedicated thier time and resources in the effort to locate him.

Troop B had their annual Memorial Service at FOP Lodge 47 for fallen PSP Troopers and local officers who made the ultimate sacrifice. Surrounding law enforcement agencies were in attendance not only to support but to make known that our fallen officers shall not be forgotten.
