Haters Have to Hate I am running for office. I asked a neighbor who is a democrat, and I have known for years, to vote for me as a write in candidate. He asked me who I was voting for as president. I told him Trump. Immediately, He said something extremely vulgar to me and called the First Lady a whore. I refused to engage him because it was obvious he hated Trump; so, I just let it go. I learned early in as a police officer; you can’t argue with a drunk; the insane or a hater. Most Democrats are not voting for Trump because; they hate the guy; and, without justification, they hate everyone who is voting for him. I see this so often because I am running for office. It is so prevalent that someone came up with a perfect statement about it; if you are voting for Biden because you just don’t like Trump ; well, that’s like eating dog crap because you don’t like Broccoli. Moreover, from what I see and have experienced; and, experiencing now: there appears to be more of a commitment for values material to love of neighbor and putting self last instead of first within the ranks of Republicans and conservatives . I experience a more connected, commitment to duty, honorable and righteous commitment to service for the right reasons from conservatives. They appear to demonstrate an immediate connection and willingness to sacrifice for others. The perfect example of this is our all volunteer military. Mostly consisting of conservatives or republicans rather then democrats or socialists. I believe it is a mindset instilled from the time of reasoning and in order to maintain the connection with those like minded, it continues through a lifetime; and lets face it, haters have to hate and misery loves company. The opposite is true for conservative.
