There are many factors, like which games you want to commit to. Many esports kids are likely to specialize in one or maybe two games. You need to pay their salary, transportation, and maybe small benefits. With the current market condition, I don't know if it is still investable. To answer your question about a two-year start-up, I would say at least $150M+ if you plan to recruit well-known names for your team. If you plan to hire an esports scout department to do all the dirty work to find “under radar” talents, offer them incentives along with crypto coins like BTC, ETH, XRP, or whatever their preference is, along with a small salary. It could still cost you maybe $3-$5M on overhead expenses. Pray that these “no names” kids become stars.
