Security screening is now closed. We screened over 56,000 visitors to

today and estimate 30,000 visitors were in attendance for the evening show. As of 10:30 p.m., there were no security incidents to report.

As we start the week, we wanted to give a shout out and thank ALL frontline workers at PPS. We are grateful for your hard work, dedication and compassion. Your efforts in protecting the physical security of the Parliament is making a difference.
Today, and every day, even throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the Service ensures that certain traditions live on, such as the daily Turning of the Page Ceremony in honour of Canadians who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of their country.

Each day at 11:00, we perform the daily Turning of the Page Ceremony in honour of Canadians who have made the ultimate sacrifice in serving their country.

The Parade capped off a week of festivities in support of our 2SLGBTQIA+ colleagues, friends and family members.
🎉 The Parliamentary Protective Service turns 7 today! We want to thank each of our employees, past and present, for the hard work and dedication they have shown in these past years, especially during unprecedented times.

who lost a team member today in the Kamloops crash. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Capt. Jenn Casey who touched so many souls through Operation Inspiration.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce that one member of the CF Snowbirds team has died and one has sustained serious injuries. We can confirm that we have contacted all primary family members of those involved. More information will be communicated in the near future.

An incident occurred during the Changing of the Guard ceremony today on

where a male was arrested by the Parliamentary Protective Service. The subject was handed to the Ottawa Police Service who is the lead on this investigation.
