We are pleased to announce this year's PLR statements have been released, so everyone should have received theirs in the next few days. Payments will follow in February.
Statements for PLR Year 2021/22 will be distributed throughout the course of today. If you are due to receive a postal statement it will be with you in the next few days.

We are pleased to announce that UK PLR payments to UK bank accounts have now been made, we anticipate that the money should reach accounts by Monday 4 February. Sorry for the delay everyone but a big Thank You for your patience.
UK PLR statements should now be available to view on your online account (if you have one!) and postal statements are being processed for dispatch today.
We expect to make payments between 24th & 28th Feb, please note this could take up to 5 working days to reach your accounts.
PLR remunerates authors and other book contributors when their books are borrowed from public libraries. Over 22,000 people received a PLR payment this year. If you are a published author, illustrator, narrator & editor sign up for PLR by 30 June.
PLR payments to UK bank accounts have now been made. Payments to overseas accounts will be made on Monday 18th Jan. Please allow 3-5 working days for these to reach your account.
UK PLR statements now available. We will be distributing £6 million at a Rate Per Loan of 8.20 pence. 22,108 authors will receive a payment of between £1 and £6,600 including 195 authors who will receive the maximum payment of £6,600.
Don't forget the 30th of June is last day of the current PLR year. Please make sure your registrations are up to date and remember to tell anyone you know who might be eligible for a PLR account to register with us.

We are working very hard to get the UK statements out but unfortunately we have run into some serious technical difficulties which we are working hard to fix. We are therefore hoping to have the statements out this week and payments at the end of January.
Although the UK PLR statements were available for a short time this morning, we have now had to take them down, we are so sorry. We will make them available as soon as possible.
It's only two months until the end of the current PLR year so now is a good time to register with PLR. Also if you are currently registered with us don't forget to add any titles you don't currently have on your account. This includes e and audio books.

BACS payments for UK PLR Year 20/21 have now been made and should be in your accounts in 3 working days. International payments will follow early next week

Although The British Library is closed, PLR is able to receive new registrations and any additional book registrations. Registrations received by midnight on the 30th of June will be eligible for the 19/20 PLR year. We are unable to respond to queries on submissions at this time.

All, Twitter is indeed correct that midnight (30th June) is the deadline for registrations for the 2019/2020 PLR year. Please don't panic if your books are still showing as 'Awaiting Approval' after the deadline. The cut off is for our users not the PLR staff!! Just under 9 hours

COVID 19 UPDATE
Due to the latest Government guidelines regarding Covid-19, PLR are working from home. We are still accepting new PLR registrations & any additional title registrations, but these may take a little longer to process. Please see our website for a full update.
