Ottawa Glandorf wins the D5, Region 18 regional championship over Elyria Catholic 31-6.
Will face Kirkland next Saturday in the D5 state semi finals at a site to be announced by the OHSSA.
Ottawa Glandorf seniors Chloee Glenn and Theo Maag signed their letters of intent today to attend Ohio Northern University to further their education and play basketball.
Columbus Grove senior Paige Bellman was named Honorary NWC Player of the Year after missing her senior season with a knee injury. She was the NWC Player of the Year as a junior.
Ottawa-Glandorf soph. Colin White was voted the WBL Player of the Year and first team WBL.

Jon Banal, Columbus Grove, and Peyton Heitmeyer, Leipsic, were named the PCL male and female track athletes of the year for 2021.
This was based on their performances at the PCL meet on May 7.
Owens CC freshman Maddie White, Ottawa-Glandorf, was named the MVP of the NJCAA Div. III volleyball national championships after recording 21 kills, 17 digs, 5 assists and 3 blocks in Owens 3-2 win to claim a 3rd straight national title.
The Leipsic School Board voted Sunday, in Special Session, to withdraw from the Northwest Conference and accept an invitation to rejoin the Blanchard Valley Conference.
As of now no official timetable has been set for the move.

Columbus Grove's Blake Reynolds and Gabe Clement both had a record setting night for the Bulldogs.
Reynolds unofficially threw for 389 yards and 6 TDs.
Clement 301 yards receiving and 5 receiving TDs.
UF sophomore Josh Verhoff (Kalida) has the fastest time in the 200 dash at 22.02 after the preliminary rounds at the G-MAC indoor championships. The finals are Saturday.
Ottoville grad Bridget Landin had 8 points and 8 rebounds, 7 offensive, for the UF women's basketball team tonight in an 89-76 exhibition win over Ohio Wesleyan.

Ottawa-Glandorf's Taylor Alt was named first team all-Ohio in Division III volleyball by the coaches association. Claire Eiden was Honorable Mention and Coach Amber Gerdeman received an Achievement Award.
UF sophomore Carlee Siefker (Leipsic) finished third in the pentathlon at the G-MAC championships and soph Brynlee Hanneman (Ottoville) was 4th in the weight throw (15.16 m).
Col Grove's Rylee Sybert breaks school record for career assists tonight in Bulldogs win over Continental. Sybert had 17 assists and now has 1,224 for her career, seven more than Erica Glass (1,217). Congrats.
Columbus Grove senior Lawson Maag on his instagram account says he is committed to furthering his education and track and field career at The Ohio State University.
Ottawa-Glandorf senior Peyton Warnecke signed a letter of intent this afternoon to further her education and basketball careers at Ohio Northern University.
Paige Bellman, Col. Grove, had a career high 19 points and 16 rebounds along with 5 blocks for the Univ. of Findlay WBK team in their 81-75 loss to Wayne State tonight. She added 3 assists and a steal.
Ottoville's Bridget Landin was named the Div. IV girls Player of the Year in District 8 and Dave Kleman was co-Coach of the Year with Minster's Mike Wiss.
