Terrible news today that our lovely Mayson suffered a colic attack and is now in horse heaven. So sad and RIP young fella. Will be much missed.
Don't you love him? They say horses grow from their heads backwards so our Mayson colt is going to be a big fella. Only four days old and he and mum doing well.

Bound to be questions to answer after Panorama tonight. !0 years ago we paid a top centre £1k to rehome a horse. Within a week they wanted to shoot it. Our trainer refused & we removed our lad. He is still alive & well in Devon loving his showjumping & adoring owner.

Would love to see independent, local suppliers with food and drink from the area. Racecourses to show off the Best of British Food, wine, cider and beer. Make meetings a food fest. Not serve up the usual unhealthy, bland and overpriced rubbish.
Racing fans deserve better than a choice of fried stuff, fried stuff, doughy meatball sandwiches (🤮 this is not the US) or salty packet sandwiches. Paying customers at racecourses routinely get an awful deal. Is it any wonder people are voting with their feet?

There is a snobbishness in racing towards lower class racing. It should be celebrated not reviled. The grassroots funds the whole sport. 75% of horses race at Class 4 or below and the income generated funds elite racing. Very well done all the owners at that level.

You will have more runners in a class 6 handicap at Redcar for £3k than a class 2 for 20k at Chester. So there is an argument for cutting the prize money at the upper level. It’s amazing how folk think they are hard done by at their level.
