It give us great pleasure to announce that our very own Waheda Khot won the Public Sector Award for the Asian Business Connexions Annual Award Ceremony thosbevening. We are incredibly proud of her and couldn't think of a more deserving winner.
Amidst the difficult times, it is really important to continue celebrating our wonderful students who go above and beyond. Today we had 115 of them in a Star Student celebration

Today we said goodbye to Mr Maher. He starts an exciting new chapter of his career at Outwood Academy Bishopsgarth after the Easter break.
What a wonderful, caring and compassionate teacher, colleague and person. He will be dearly missed by students and staff alike.

Big Big Project
We would like to wish our Big Big Project team all the best ahead of tomorrow’s final!
They’ll be delivering ideas of how they would level-up Middlesbrough. After seeing a sneak peak at our all staff training session on Tuesday, we know they’ll smash it!
We have many talented students at our Academy but a big mention has to go to Brandon who starred in Joseph and Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Middlesbrough Little Theatre. As you can see Miss Rafferty and Miss Smith gave the production a huge thumbs up!

We are so proud to be part of the laying of the poppy ceremony at the Cenotaph on Linthorpe Road today. A big well done to Year 8 students Declan and Faith who represented our Academy in such an attentive and respectful way.

Six of our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors completed their training. Part of the course was being able to identify and support victims and also planning a programme for next year that will include; primary school drop-ins, awareness days and training to students, staff and parents.

It has been a brilliant day today as we hosted our Outwood Academy Acklam careers fair. More than 45 guests representing local and national businesses, along with the Post 16 education and training providers from across the region, came to inspire and inform our students.
