OPS TSSEA enforcement officers stopped a tow truck and discovered that both the driver and tow company did not have a Certificate to operate. This resulted in the tow truck being impounded for 7 days. The following charges were also laid: • No Commercial vehicle operator’s registration • Defective brakes • No inspection report • Misuse of plates (plates were then seized) If you need a tow, know your rights. ~ Des agents de mise en application de la LSEREV du SPO interceptèrent une dépanneuse et découvrirent que ni le chauffeur, ni l’entreprise de remorquage, n’avait de Certificat d’immatriculation. Il en résulta que la dépanneuse fut mise en fourrière pour 7 jours. Les accusations suivantes furent aussi portées: • Absence de Certificat d’immatriculation d'utilisateur de véhicule utilitaire • Freins défectueux • Absence de rapport d’inspection • Mauvais usage de plaques (ces plaques furent alors saisies) Si vous avez besoin d'un remorquage, connaissez vos droits.
