Just look at how the UK justice system is treating Ike Ekweremadu, a top Nigerian politician and Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate for three consecutive senates. But here, one Chinese businessman with less than $10k will refuse to go for police invites. We are our problem.

Then, there are schools in Nigeria that, regardless of how hard you study, your grades are dependent on grace. The Faculty of Law, Lagos State Univeristy, is a good case study. You can fail a course you're meant to have an A in because the lecturer doesn't know the course.

If you are still in school, try and make that first class or at least 2.1. A good first degree opens many doors. If it’s scholarship, you’ll be considered first. If it’s job opening, you’ll always make it to aptitude test or interview stage. There are many opportunities.
