On this day, Lincoln Alexander Day, we remember Lincoln Alexander - a champion of equity - who graduated from Osgoode in 1953, practised law until 1968, then became the first Black Member of Parliament, serving four consecutive terms. In 1985, he was appointed Ontario Lt.-Gov.

Congratulations to Professor Mary Condon on her first day as Dean (Interim) of Osgoode! Formerly Associate Dean (Academic), Professor Condon will serve in the role until June 30, 2019 while a search is underway for the Law School's next Dean.
Two of Osgoode’s longest serving and most respected adjunct faculty, Dale Lastman and Reuben Rosenblatt, have decided to retire from teaching. Each has served the Law School for more than 30 years and both decided that this would be their last year.
Vera Parsons (1889-1973) graduated from Osgoode in 1924 and went on to become the first female criminal defence lawyer in Ontario, likely the first woman to appear before judge and jury, and the first to defend an accused murderer.
