Patrice Bergeron’s Pucks & Paddles event was so fun-so organized down to the very last detail. I really wish the Caps did something like this. The players were great! some came around and took pics. Troy played ping pong with Blades and the GM of the Bruins brother. So much fun!

On 6/12 I had surgery & on 6/19 I received the call no one wants, “We found cancer.” It’s been a physically & mentally exhausting few weeks. The prognosis is good & I’m ready to fight! I mean, I have to be here to see Troy live his dream of playing hockey w/ Garnet in the NHL! 😉

I had my follow up today from my second surgery. Everything was benign! The cancer did not spread anywhere and they got it all the first time. I will continue with quarterly checks for two years, then no-yearly until year 5.

Thanks for all the good vibes ❤️ good news is I do not have cancer - the bad news is that they found atypical cells that are precancerous and have a 33% chance to turn into cancer. I have to have surgery in the next few months. It could be so much worse. Reminder to get checked!
Today I have my follow up from my procedure from two weeks ago. I’m still nervous and scared and afraid of what the doctor may tell me. If anyone has any extra good vibes to spare today, I’d appreciate them ❤️ In the meantime, taking T to see Super Mario Bros ❤️
