Tried to shoot the aurora but it was pretty faint over Port au Port Bay (Point au Mal is on the right). If you look close you can see the Big Dipper in the upper left. Hoping it gets brighter later tonight. 🤞

Happy Easter everyone. Here's a little tip I learned from my mom. If you put parchment inside the turkey before you stuff it, it's much easier to remove once cooked. Just crumple up the parchment and wet it and it's easy to mold into the cavity as you push the stuffing in.

UPDATE: I added some black, sanded back and restained to bring out the grain more. I left the black pretty much intact around the sides. It's even more purple than before.
