41 patients transported yesterday to create ICU capacity in GTA hospitals. Read as @ThatJonLee speaks of the missing human connection transporting COVID-19 patients and being flagged down by relatives in parking lots.
Ornge, Ontario’s air ambulance and medical transport service, transported a record 327 patients in the first two weeks of April to create space in ICUs. As GTA hospitals fill up, patients are being transferred as far as Kingston. My latest in @TorontoStar
