So you know that thing where we always say we have the best followers on social media? Well Claire has very kindly sent us a Chinese New Year care package containing lemon and ginger candy, an envelope of chocolate coins, and even some Orkney Library Chinese translations! ❤️

It's always great to see new books about #Orkney coming out so a big thank you to author Fiona Grahame for giving us this copy of her latest book which has just been published. HMS Pheasant 1917 is available to view in the Archive now, and we'll have it for loan very soon. 📚

Remembering that time a customer handed over their library card and apologised because their son had recently taken up the guitar...🎸 It's amazing what you can do with a library card. 😀
