@dig_deeper1 You’re right - Its not fully without risk but if you know your asset, the market and are willing to meet it then it can be a solid strategic option

@amyDfennell @ShaanVP @somewherehiring If he’s paid more when he delivers me exactly what I want from her then absolutely- every time.

@DavidCanadayATL @juarrezz @ShaanVP @somewherehiring The task is to match willing ready and able Buyers with Sellers. That’s it. I may concede that it takes years of consultative conversations to build relationships but I’ve listed real estate inside of hours of knowing clients- hardly consultative.

@MortConsumCoach @ShaanVP @somewherehiring Not unusual. Behind the scenes I’m sure he/she was begging the Seller to counter. The same way they begged for the overpriced listing they swore they could deliver on.

@mgalindo_gif @ShaanVP @somewherehiring So the Listing Agent keeps the whole fee? I’m fine with that arrangement too.

@MortConsumCoach @ShaanVP @somewherehiring Then they did your Buyer a favor. A Seller holding a leash that doesnt know there’s a dog on the other end after 120 days will always find a way not to close.

@MortConsumCoach @ShaanVP @somewherehiring Sounds like everyone wins. Seller’s moving their stale dog and Buyer’s good faith offer was accepted as such.

@MortConsumCoach @ShaanVP @somewherehiring You’re buying their relationship with the Seller. Nothing more. If theyre smart thats great, but not necessary to getting a good deal done that works for everyone.

@MortConsumCoach @ShaanVP @somewherehiring If the listing agent is a “dumbo” but I’ve inspected books, title and the property and still want the deal I don’t care if Dumbo is even intelligent enough to hump a doorknob. He can have his whole fee if I can have my whole deal.

@mgalindo_gif @ShaanVP @somewherehiring If you’re a Buyer that understands the deal and wants to own it there’s no reasonable alternative to working with the listing agent

@juarrezz @ShaanVP @somewherehiring A real estate agent is not a coach. Theyre someone paid to market real estate.

@TheBrettJenson @ShaanVP @somewherehiring This does not mean screwing over the buyer. When I purchase real estate I only work with listing agents because I want the deal to close. The LA doesn’t have to “screw the buyer” they inform the buyer on what the seller wants out of the deal.

@TheBrettJenson @ShaanVP @somewherehiring Take it from a former listing agent whos worked in an office of 40 listing agents this is exactly how it works.
